I couldn't decide what to do for my party this year. But- I wanted to do something fun with a lot of friends since it's my freshmen year.So I decided to throw a house party with a theme. and except my birthday is in January I made it a winter wonderland party. I invited like 80(my house is pretty big) of my friends using invitations I made off of the computer-(the were printed on white paper then me and my friend rolled them up tapped them then rolled the in glittler after glue was put on the outside, next we would tie a white ribbon around each one). The invitations stated all that good stuff like rsvp and the date. The party lasted from 6 to about 10. My mom and I bought alot of chep white light blues and silver fabrics to cover our house in. we also rolled out a white peice of fabric in the foyer as a carpet walkway to the area of were the party would be. My mom and I bought alot of finger foods and deserts and even made some and placed them out in the kitchen according to if they were a desser or drink ect. Then in the middle on the kitchen island we had a drink fountain with this wild blue berry punch we found (surprissling everyone loved it)Mt brother made a mix CD of all the songs my friends and I like and we played those all night in the family room were we cleared it out pretty much and everyone dance. In there we had two strobe lights and cover out furniture with white slip covers and drapped silver fabric on them. Then outside we have a screened pool and its right of the kitchen and the family room so it worked out well. But outside was kind of like just a hang out place. We hired someone to come make drinks" for us haha we all loved that. Then we had a candy bar with assorted colorful candy arranged in a rainbow like order. In the middle of this table was andother fountain with the berry drink. We also had seats and floor cushions so by the end of the night we were all outside and endend up playing the biggest game of manhunt. This party was alot of fun and my friends said they enjoyed it and never had so much fun before there was also alot of extra details not mentioned like glowsticks and party favors of the sort oh not to mention the people the decided to play marco polo in my pool in the middle of january =D and no it was not a pool party. Then I had my closest girl friends spend the night and we all went to waffle house after I kind of picked up and they offered to help me and Then drove to walmart and bought useless little toys and stuff to bake cookies and cakes all in all I had a great night.
