Sweet Sixteen Beach Bash For my sweet sixteen I wanted it to be a big deal, since it was my last party. I had about 50 guests. I am lucky enough for it to be in June, so we rented
out a section of the beach.
We roped off a section of the water and placed floating candles in the water, so people could still swim after dark. We set up tiki torches, white Christmas lights,a d.j. stage, and a small bar on the beach. All night people danced and swam and drank virgin frozen cocktails. Then we had cake and I opened presents. The beach has a campground, so we rented three campsites: one for my closest boy friends, on for my closest girl friends and I, and one for my parents. We walked and drove around the campground and had a bonfire and talked until early in the morning. We slept in until noon and made pancakes over the bonfire. It was the best way to kick off summer and wind down after exams.
