My Sweet 16 is a milestone for me because it's like YES! I'm capable of doing so many things on my own and I have a level of maturity that's beyond my years even though I still love to clown around. Well my Sweet 16 is planned by me, insted of getting an ven planner, I decided to do things my own way especially since I'm very good in this kind of thing. Well all the guys and girls will have to be dressed up. Girls : No jeans, No sneakers and Guys : No jerzey's, No jeans...button up shirts are what I'm looking for. The theme color is Amethyst/Silver/White. The time is from 8:00 pm to 1:00 am. The tables will have table cloths the colors of the theme, and each table will be opposite from each other. We're going to run 2 or 3 streamers(theme color) down the middle of the table, then place the centerpieces in the middle. We're going to place 4 crystal bowls on each table, which contains water with (amethyst) food coloring, and place 1 white floating candle in each bowl. After that, we'll place small bunches/petals of flowers in between in each of the bowls. Finally, we'll sprinkle confetti(theme color) around the centerpiece and bowls. We'll place one SWEET 16 banner in the entrance, 2 on each wall, and one behind the cake table. The cake itself will be a strawberry cheesecake(I HOPE!!!!). Each of the guests will receive a disposable camera. And as part of their party favors, a number of people will receive a mixx cd with a decorated jewel case. At the entrance, there will be a red carpet from the door to the sign in table. At the sign in table, instead of a regular book, there will be a large purple poster board with an 11 x 14 blow up childhood picture of me. There'll be a silver permanent marker to write a message around the picture. In each corner, and at the entrance, there'll be 4 helium ballons each. Black lights will replace regular lighting. The ceremonies will begin with a dance sequence by me and 5 of my friends. Then we'll talk for a bit and enjoy the party and then, we'll have the candle lighting ceremony. We'll have a heart-shaped cadelbra with 16 or 18 candles. There are 2 candles for the parents of the honoree, and one for the honoree myself. I'ma recite a poem for each person I call like : "I thank myself for making it to this milestone, and not doubting who I am, so for that I will light candle number one. Mom, I have no way to repay you, all the things you've been thru, Please light candle number two. Dad, I thank you for eveything you've done for me, grant my wish and light candle number three. Tony, Every day I love you more and more, Would you please do me the honor and light candle number four. " Exactly like that. Then me and my dad will have a little dance to a song thats for us, and then he'll hand me over to my date and thats when we'll have everybody crowd the dance floor and party! We'll play PIN-THE-NOSE-ON-MICHAEL-JACKSON, have cans of silly string, and plenty of glow items(hats, necklaces, etc.) We're gonna have a dance contest, in which the winner will win a LOT 29 shirt. Then we'll dance the night away.
