Survivor Party 13yr

April 2006

For My 13th Birthday party, I had a SURVIVOR themed party. When the girls(guys can have this kind of party too) arrived, they popped a balloon with a piece of paper in it and telling them if they were on the pink or green team.(the teams can be any color)Then they got a bandana matching their team.   The 1st game was a neighborhood scavenger hunt. We made a list of 13 anyday items that people wouldn't mind giving you i.e. paperclip, stick of gum, waterbottle, 2 chocolate chip cookies, 3 rubberbands, ect. they had 30 minutes to knock on people's doors and ask for the items. The team with the most at the end got a point.  The second game was a marshmallow eating contest. We got a bag of the jumbo marsh mellows anf the teams chose 2 represenatives. the team that had the most marshmellows in their mouths wins a point. this game is always a favorite.  the third game was a bubble gum find. agian the teams choose two represenatives.(two different people)you get two paperplates and cover them with a layer of whip creme . Then you put a piece of bubble gum in it and cover it with whip creme till it's not visible. the Rep. have to look through the whip cheme with their faces and find the bubble gum. once they find it, the have to blow a bubble, this is hard because the whip creme kind of dissoles the bubble gum. (we had w whip creme fight after this.) the 1st team to blow a bubble gets a point.   the last game will be worth two points. it is a gross food contest. You go out and buy 6 good tasting foods and six, well, gross foods(the # of items depends on how many guests come to the party)you cover the foodwith a paperplate ad them the girls/guys choose a plate. whatever is on theirt plate thye have to eat atleast one half. Thsi is really fun to seewhat each girl/guy is left to eat.   the winning team got a cute, but affordable pair of earings each(this can be different for guys) the "not winning" team got the funny plastic sun glasses with the cookie designs on them. THe perty favors were the prize at the end, their bandana, and a small hula bracelet/anklet. at the end of all the games, all of us went outside and slep in a huge tent set up in the back yard. we had tiki torches(mesquitio repellentones) all around and lawn chairs to relax in. We told scary stories till we all went to sleep.   My party was amazing, everyone told me I had to opit the next year. I hope it works as well for you as it did forme!
