My son's Surprise B-day Party is just around the corner. The celebration will be held at home (backyard). I'll admit, it's been hard for me to pass the
invitations to his friends from school, soccer, baseball, etc. (since I don't see them). Luckily a couple of his classmates have assisted me to pass some invites at their school. I printed
the invitations myself. However, for the family I special ordered (via internet) mailing stamps and invitations with my son's photo. With the help of his dad and sis, I made a DVD showing
photos (past and present)of the Birthday Boy. As the photos appear, one of his favorite songs is playing in the background. I will play the DVD shortly after his arrival to his party. I hired
a local restaurant to serve taco's from a Taco Cart...for soft drinks I decided to purchase glass bottled Coke, Crush, & Root Beer.
I wanted something different for entertainment. Something that the my son and the guest wouldn't imagine. A comedian/magician will give us some great laughs. Also, a caricature will be present for those who what a cartoon portrait of themselves. The decorations will be simple. Each table will have a balloon center piece and I'll spinkle some confetti. I can't wait to see my son's face as he walks into his party! I do hope that by me sharing this with you, I was able to give you some ideas.
