I am planning on having a Hawaiian birthday/ sleepover party down in my basement. Look like its back to the hula skirts and the crock tops. I'm hoping u will all
bring your sleeping bags some comfortable pjs and some clothes to change into afterward in case your not comfortable with the hula skirts. If you have any allergic reactions to food
please call my mum ahead of time at xxx-xxx-xxxx ask for Kayla or Linda on the phone. What I could do is put up tropical colored streamers and other tropical decorations, serve punch with
those little umbrellas (the works!) I have a basement I could set up beach chairs and umbrellas, towels, and radios (playing tropical music of coarse!!!!). If you have any other suggestions
call!!!! For games I was thinking the limbo and hula hooping
to see who can go the longest. I came up with this terrific game cover the floor of a spare room with blown up balloons. The more the better. Throw the toys and candy on the floor. The balloons cover up the prizes, and then have a wonderful time knocking the balloons around searching for your loot! The next game I found was First, you buy enough balloons so everyone at the party can have one. Then, you write different dares on little pieces of paper, one for every balloon. Then, fold up the paper so its really tiny and put them in the balloons. Set the up as decorations, and tell the kids to pull them down after dinner and tell them to pop them. This could get a little noisy. All of us have to do the dare that is written on the piece of paper. Next I found a game called Blind Makeover: First, one girl sits in front of the bathroom mirror on a stool or chair, the other girl kneeling behind her. (she cant see the mirror) The girl in the chair put her hands behind her back, and the girl on the floor who cant see puts her arms in between the other girls arms, and gives her a makeover, and she cant see! This game can work with a group of girls. My next game idea is a bucket of pennies all the girls are divided into groups we fill a soup can with pennies each girl brings the pennies to the bucket at the opposite end of the room but they have to carry the pennies between their knees whoever gets the most pennies in a certain time wins. This is another dare game I found you write a whole load of dares on pieces of paper, {one dare per piece} and then put them all in a bowl. You then get hold of another bowl which you tape onto an alice band. When your guests arrive, you blindfold one of them, and place the alice band with the empty bowl taped to it on their head. You then place in front of them the bowl with the dares in, and a big spoon. Set a timer for however long you like {thirty seconds works well} and they have to get as many pieces of paper as possible into the bowl on their head using only the spoon. This gives loads a laughs to the whole party. When the time's up, the guest playing the game has to do all the dares that they didn't get into the bowl on their head. It is a good idea to give the guest a chocolate bar for playing the game, so they don't feel too hard done by! This sounds fun! The next game I found was flash light tag you can have 2 to as many players as you want. You need 1 flash light. 1 person holds the flash light while the other people pick a place to start at and a place to run to. Then the players that run start running and the person with the flash light tried to find the people running and when they see some one they shine the flash light on the person they see then the person that had the flash light shined on them, has to start over. The first person to run to where the runners picked to run to wins. You have to play in the dark at night. It's best that you wear some thing dark so the person with the flash light doesn't see you. Bring clothes! After a while of thinking I found the last and good game its called hidden talents Where everyone took a card and picked a person to do the talent on the card. If the person could not do it then, the person with the card had to do it. This game requires: People This is a fun game for girls 12 and up. First you get in a circle. Then you have one person in the middle of the circle. Then the person in the center of the circle asks everyone a question saying have you ever____________? Then everyone who has done___________ moves so the person in the middle can't sit down. Then if the person in the middle does sit down then the person to there left or right who didn't move goes up. Another fun game is called piggly wiggly. This game requires: 1 sleeping bag per kid and pad of paper and pencil or pen This game works for all ages. First you pick someone to go out of the room then everyone in the room gets into someone else's sleeping bag. When you are all in a sleeping bag one person yells to the person outside of the room to come in. The person comes in and goes to the first sleeping bag and say's Piggly wiggly the person under the sleeping bag say's oink oink then the person that said piggly wiggly guess who the person is and writes it down on a piece of paper. The kid can't come out of sleeping bag tell the hole game is done. Then the hole game goes on like that. Fun game: Murder 'n' The night This game requires: paper and pencil Ages: 11 and up most the time People for game: 5 or more works best First what you do say you have 8 kids what you want to do is get a piece of paper and write Murder then cut out a 1 and a half inch square then write detective on the paper and cut it out. Then you will need to cut out 3 people cards. Or how ever many people there are. (You can only have one murder and one detective. When you cut them all out you fold them in half then put them in a hat and have each kid pick a card. (they can't say what they are)(and can't put the card back tell everyone has a card) After everyone knows what they are. The detective turns off the light and stands or sits in the same spot until someone gets tagged and fake falls down dead the detective turns the light on. Everyone mingles around until the murder taps the person on the shoulder 2 times. When that happens the person has to wait ten seconds before he or she falls over and dies. The murder can only tag 1 person at a time.(meaning he or she can't tag anyone else till the next time. When the murder tags someone and the person fake dies the detective will turn on the light (Murder can't kill detective) and asks each person where they where on the night of the murder and each one says like I was at a movie or something like that. Then if the detective can detect that first round then they pick cards again. If he can't decide then they will play another round until the detective can figure out who it was. Also if the detective guesses wrong then he or she dies and the murder wins. You want the room as dark as possible. Hope you like these games! It's an improvising game off of the ultimate improvisation game, "Whose Line is it Anyway?" What you do is write down lines from movies, funny sayings, anything you can think, on little pieces of paper. You put them in a hat and when the guests are there, have them each pick out a paper without reading it, and put it into their pockets. Think of a scene for them to do (i.e. old ladies buying a dog, spies in a train) and in the middle of the act, someone pulls out their paper and reads out loud what's on it. This game brings many laughs to all of us, and I hope it will be of help to you.
