my mother is the best,for my 13th birthday she sent out invitations to 15 of my friends without my knowledge.while i was asleep the night before my birthday my mother enclosed our carport with tarpaulins and left it open   just enough so we got air coming through and we could go in and out when we wanted.she also blew baloons up and attached coloured string to the balloons and then made the string curly and pinned them from the roof of the carport,with one very big special one for me with my name on it.she also put coloured lights up all the way around the top of the roof and the best part was they were special lights that changed and beat with the music,WOW that was really something.on the outside of the tarp facing the road was a monster banner saying its rheanns birthday today and there was a party in progress.there was three tables set up,1 for the drinks,1 for the party food and the other for my presents,the tables were up one end of the carport so there was plenty of room for us to party.the party started at 3pm and we played musical chairs,charades,pin the tail on the ( budgie )my mothers idea coz it was harder to do,and there was the tiniest baby swimming pool with apples floating round,we had to kneel down with our hands behind our backs and try to grab a bite of 1,but that was a mean feat in itself so most of us were laughing so much coz we kept slipping and ended up with our whole heads in the water,oh by the way nobody won coz we were laughing to much.next came time for the presents after eating and playing.i opened them all and they were lovely presents then my mother blindfolded me and told the others not to say anything,at that moment my mum told me to look at the presents she had bought.oh my i could'nt believe my eyes mum had bough me a kareoke machine with 5 cds and a beautiful set of disco lights.she then hung those lights up coz they went to the rythem of the music.by this time i was wondering what was going on as all my friends still had'nt told me a thing.well the next part of my party was a disco complete with disco ball as well.that went till about 9pm and i can safely say we were starting to get tired.mum came out and anounced that the pizzas will be here soon so we should all come inside and relax untill they got here.to my delight mum had got all the spare mattresses out and layed them all down to cover the entire dining room floor.my sneaky friends were sleeping over and we even got a collection of videos and dvds to pick and choose through to watch all night if we wanted to.well we started at3pm and the last person to fall asleep was myself at 3am,and i can tell you now we all had a blast and i will never forget that my single parent mother of 2 had done so much for me  for my 13th.a party,games,disco,sleepover and then breakfast for all of us.i love you mum and some day i will repay you.that birthday party has been the talk of the area ever since.YE HA from rheann    i hope someone can have a party just like i had and become the envey of all the kids at school.
