For my 13th birthday party, I decided that the theme would be a spa. First, I chose how many girls I wanted to come to the party. In total there were six
including me. I made sure that the girls invited all new each other so they would feel comfortable. Then I sent out the inviatations. For the inviatations, my mom and me went to the nearest
paper affair. Since it was a spa party, I knew that the inviatations needed to look some what like a spa. I ended finding the perfect ones. After i chose the inviatations we sat down with a
professional and decided on a cute font and a catchy phrase to put on the inviatations. Also, instead of saying "a birthday party" we put "a birthday SPArty." Everyone
thought that was really cute. After the inviatations are out of the way decide what products you want to use for the spa. I decided that I would use the spa products Jaqua Girls. It was the
perfect product for my age of girls. Tip: if you are getting these products only a couple days before, don't order them online. Try Ulta Cosmetics or something similar to that. For the spa
party, I decided to have 4 stations since there were 6 people in all, that way one station always got a break (this makes it easier on the parents). One of the stations was manicures, another
was pedicures, the third was a facial, and last was the massages. All of this all took place in our basement. Now, for the manicures, since we had a kitchen in our basement, we had the two
girls that were at that station at that time sit there. On the table have a a white table laying flat down in front of them. Then on top of that take a light blue towel and roll it up. Then
take some ribbon, and tie it on about an inch or 2 away from the end. Then there was a tub of water in the center of the table. For the manicures, the mancuriest would sit on stools in front
of them. They would give them massages, exfoliate the hands and then paint them. Next, for the pedicures, i set up to chairs and in the center of them was a table with some magazines on it.
Make sure all the magazines are apporiate and make sure everyone will like them. Do magazines like Teen Vogue, Cosmo Girl, GL, Seventeen etc. In front of them would be foot spa's and the
pedicurist would sit on little stools with a towel on there lap. Then for the facials, the girls would go in the bathroom and lay down on the Jaze. First, wash their face, then
mosturize/exfoliate, and put on the mask. Now, last but not least, the massages. Have them lay down on a bed or either something else that is comfortable and easy to relax on. Then have the
massagers come in and try different techinques. At the end of the spa, take them all out to dinner at fun restuarunt. For example, maybe a chinese food place where they can cook in front of
you. When you get back from dinner get into some comfortable pajama's and get cuddled up and watch a movie, followed by some popcorn, cake, adnd ice cream.
