For my 14th Birthday, i'm having a manicure and salon party! Here's what we'll be doing: Manicures: To do a manicure you'll need nail scissors, buffers and nail files, nail polish, hand cream, and a big bowl of warm water. You'll also need a bottle of nail polish remover in case your manicure smudges or anyone is already wearing polish. You could do each others manicures or get a parent or older sister etc. to do them for you. You'll need to cut and file your nails until they're the right lenth and shape. Then put your hands in the warm water for about 5-10 minutes. You can also get nail spas which are like footspas but for your hands!:) Then you can put the handcream on your nails, but make sure you rub it in or you'll have very greasy hands and the polish wont go on. Then Choose your colours and designs and get painting!  Also you can do face masks, cucumber over the eyes (lol!) and other salon treatments like foot spas and manicures etc. It's up to you! After this we'll watch a movie, and have a sleepover.  An idea for the invitations is to draw around your hand, then use fancy paper and wrapping paper etc. for each nail, then write the information on the hand. You could use your couch or your room for the manicures, but another idea is to make a 'salon' in your living room, with signs etc. Well, I hope you have a fun party!
