Fun, glamorous, mature spa sleepover for teenagers!!! For my 14th birthday, I had it small, with just my three best friends. It was a spa and dinner, so I
just did a cute invitation I got of sweetpeadesigns.com with colored peace sings on it saying the usual. We picked them up in my uncle's Rolls Royce, and went to Benihana. This was fun,
because we blasted our favorite music and they prepare the food right in front of you at Benihana. Then, we went back to my house for a spa sleepover. I have my own bathroom that is connected
to my large closet/sitting area which is where we set up our sleeping bags (I got four for the sleepover- PBTeen ones are super cute) and my bathroom is large with a marble tub in the middle.
I used all my Urban Decay, MAC, and Chanel cosmetics TIP: Do not use cheap or old cosmetics because that can seem gross and no one will want to use them, or it will irritate skin. However,
since they were my cosmetics, and I couldn't go buy expensive cosmetics just for the sleepover, I went to Sephora and sneaked enough of the disposable lip gloss and mascara application
brushes so you didn't have to use fuzzy Q-tips. I then turned on my Jacuzzi tub and put a few bath bombs and arranged soap by the tub. Both the soap and the bath bombs were from Lush, the
all-natural, handmade cosmetics line that you can usually find in a section at Macy's. These are a little expensive, but they smell wonderful and are super cute. I also bought lotion and
towels, and monogrammed each towel with the guest's initial. We then did makeup, took a Jacuzzi, and gave each other massages (we did ours naked with towels over our... areas:)because we've
been friends since Pre-K, but feel free to do this in swimsuits or underwear). We did the massages with lotion. After we were all done we made popcorn and put candy in bowls (I had a supply
of soda in my room because I have a mini-fridge, but you can put soda in ice buckets, etc.) and watched a scary movie. We then put on our swimsuits and jumped in my freezing pool (it was
January in New York!!!!!) then went in the outdoor hot tub (not my Jacuzzi) and then went back inside. We then went on a scavenger hunt around my house (take a picture with my brother, dog,
mom, dad, in my dad's office, etc.) it was more fun than it sounds because it was midnight). The prize was a silver Tiffany & Co. necklace. We then played truth or dare and talked a lot
since we're best friends. We went to sleep around two or three and then woke up at around 9:30. We picked out outfits and did each others makeup and went to brunch at a cute little restaurant
called the Egg & I. We then went home and waited for the parents to pick my friends up. The costs were: Invitations: $10 Transportation: Free Dinner: $200 (because of family, could be
cheaper by going to another restaurant) Cosmetic Wands: Free:) Haha... Soap and Bath Bombs: $40 (just for the party- I bought more for favors) Sleeping Bags: $400 (I was able to keep them,
however, but you could have guests bring them or buy less expensive ones... I just liked these and wanted them to match) Snacks: $25 Scavenger Hunt Prize: $250 Favors: $120 ($30 each and I
made one for myself. $10 for Lush soap and Bath Bomb and $20 for custom towel) Breakfast: $125 TOTAL: $1,170. Remember, cost can be cut by going to a cheaper restaurant, having guests bring
their own sleeping bags, doing less or cutting out favors, doing a less expensive or no scavenger hunt prize, and using less expensive soap and bath bombs. All in all this was the best party
I have ever had, and was much better than my Sweet 13th" where I had a huge dance party. It's much more fun to have a girl's night. Enjoy! I know I did! People are still talking about my
party both my guests and others."
