Sleepover Party  13yr

January 2006

For my 13th Birthday i decided i wanted a sleepover. I thought it was a simple, unexpensive, fun way to have a birthday bash! My mom told me i could have 14 friends come over. Here are some ideas mi used and i thought could help you too!. The theme was 70's starry night. I made girls come in regular clothes, but at my place i gave them retro clothes i got from wal-mart like 5 dollares each. INVITATIONS: Have glow in the dark silver construction paper and cut them in shape of a disco ball or a girl dancing. (they are cool and cheap!Write soimething like "Wave your hands in the air and wave them like you just don't care". Then write all the details. DECORATIONS: Have big disco balls made of construction paper and put them all around the room. before the door, put a red table cloth, like if it was a red carpet. FOOD: at night order pizza, and always have nighttime meals like brownies, ice cream or candy. Forbreakfast have waffles, pancakes, scrambled eggs, orange juice, toaster struddles and muffins. ACTIVITIES AND GAMES : as soon as the girls get in the room say something like "welcome to a 70's night, you sure are a foxy 70's mama". that will make all the girls laugh. Then have everyone oput their clothes, and dance like in the old times. Have scavenger hunts, play red rover, truth or dare, blush o etere and many others. Then have a fashion show and a talent show and have everyone get prices if they had an outsanding presentation. Rent a 70's or 80's  movie, like greese, footlose, saturday night fever. Whichever it will be so much fun! DELUXE!!!... take pictures all the way trough.  Then, divide the girls in two groups and ask questions and have baloons all around. Then, have a shaving cream extreme fight (outdoors). That is so much fun and you just clean it up with a towel. Then, it should be like 12: 30 or 1:00 a.m, it's still early! Play "spa"!.. Relax like the big 70's stars!.. Have 2 or 3 voluntarees to be the spa hosts. (the ones who do the massages, or even wax others legs)!... They have to treat all guests like stars in the "ultimate Dream Spa". This is how it goes: Have everyone go outside of the room and 3 voluntarees stay inside. They organize everything (i mean, they put sheets on the floor, pillows, and have all lotions and massage machines oustdide and ready to be used). Thewn everyone goes in and waits until their appointment time. It is really cool and relaxing! Another activity you can use, but i forgot to :( : is the restaurant hotel. 3 volunteers are the receptionists. They assign guests in pairs or groups of three and give them rooms. They will get room services, invitations for parties in the hotel, and many more things!... It is great for everyone. You can also play makeovers. Have girls in two teams and 2 voluteers to receive a makeover. The prettiest makeover wins, that means the winning group will pick first where they want to sleep. PRIZES: Have unexpensive candy bags or little liza frank agendas. Easy to find on K-Mart or wal mart. Also you can have portraits, inflatable pillows, nightlights etc, $1 each at target in the $1 section. Everything is great!. As you can see this is a really unexpensive party, where girls have more fun than when you spend hundreds of dollars. The limit of money for this party is like $30 or so!... At least i spent $37!!!... Well, i had a great time and i hope my ideas could help you or your daughter have the greatest night of their life!!!
