For my thirteenth birthday party, I had a movie theme. I made my invitations on the computer. They were just plain paper and had who, what, when, where, and what to bring. They had popcorn and movie reels on them too. I invited 8 friends. If you don't have a large budget, you should invite less. Anyway, First, I told everyone to come to my house at 5:30 and then when everyone got there, we got in our cars and went to Donato's Pizza Place and had pizza. We also decorated a cake. It was really fun. You can just get a plain cake and a bunch of decorations and everyone can just put all this stuff on it and then you eat it. Then, after we were done eating, we drove to the movies which was right across the street. We bought everyone a ticket and whatever concessions they wanted. Since my birthday is so close to Valentine's Day, we saw Defintely, Maybe. It was really funny. After the movie was over, we gave everyone a couple bucks to play in the arcade. Then we went back to my house. First we opened presents. Then, we rented movies like Hairspray, She's the Man, Diary of a Mad Black Woman. I love all those movies. For the rest of the night, we watched movies and ate popcorn and played truth or dare and we stayed up really late. Then, when we woke up, my mom had made pancakes and we bought donuts and had this buffet thing. Everyone loved it. At 11:00 everyone went home, but it was definitely a party for people to remember.
