For a birthday party idea for my 13th birthday I wanted to do a mall sleepover party! INVITATIONS- For invitations, I am making little credit cards for everyone on the computer.  They will have the information for the party and the persons name.  Instead of writing a credit card #, I wrote XOXOXOXO next to their names.  Use cardstock are hard paper and laminate them if you really want it to look like a credit card. FOOD- When everyone gets their, I had a fruit platter, a veggie platter, chips and dip, and candy set up on a table in my room.  For dinner, after we go to the mall, we would go out to a restaraunt(of your choice) For breakfast, my mom made Belgian waffles with raspberries, confectioners sugar, and whipped cream. Also, provide other snacks and desserts as needed throughout the party. AT THE MALL- Spend one or two hours shopping at your favorite stores.  Then, meet up with the parent and split into teams of 2 or 3 (or 4) The parent gives each team a disposable camera and a list of odd things to do.  You need to take pictures of your team or someone on your team doing something funny.  For example, take a picture of someone posing next to a manican, or someone wearing heels higher than 6 inches.  Give each team an hour or 45 min. to try and complete the list. The parents would stay in one store when you are doing this. (that way, they won't be around, but if someone gets lost they'll know where to go) The team that completed most of the list gets a small prize. Then, go out for dinner at your favorite restaraunt. AT YOUR HOUSE- when they came back to my house, we went to my room and had a dance off. Just plug your ipod into an ihome and whoever the judges (people that don't want to dance) think is the best wins. Next, I opened presents. Then we played games, listened to more music and rented a movie from On Demand at 11:30PM. We went to bed at about 3:00 AM. NEXT DAY- After being served belgian waffles, we just hung out and did makeovers and painted each others nails. Their parents picked them up at 12 PM. GOODIE BAGS- Instead of doing something boring, I decided to make more high quality goodie bags. I used a beaded organza tie bag in various colors for each guest.  In each goodie bag I put a bath and body works lip gloss and lotion, candy, and a beading set to make jewelry. I also cut out tags, put the guests name on it and tied it onto one of the bag's strings.  This party was a big hit and I hope it helps you come up with an idea!!
