Okay, this actually hasn't happened yet. But when it does, this will be the best party a girl could ask for. Let's start with the invitations. The invitations would be handmade and decorated with things from my scrapbook supplies. I would make them each special and personal. I like absolutely everything sparkly and pink, so I would probably put some glitter or confetti inside the envelope and put some of that fluffy marabou stuff around the edge of the invites. I'm probably going to invite a lot of girls (I'm thinking about 10) but only have a few sleep over, since the place we're having the party isn't that big. The party will be located at the clubhouse in my neighborhood. As for the food, I want a huge buffet filled with loads of yummy stuff including mini-quiche, chocolate-dipped pretzels with pink sprinkles, make-your-own sundaes, and a homemade birthday cake with cotton candy and pink frosting for decorations. Usually, we just order a pizza, but I'm getting tired of that and I want to be different. I'm also thinking about having snacks like popcorn, M&M's, chocolate chips, etc. served in plastic martini glasses, just for decoration. :) Okay, now games. I read another article about someone who had bowls of whip cream and put 5 M&M's in them and you had to get out the M&M's without using your hands. I thought that would be fun. :) Also, DDR would be set up because a lot of my friends like that. I have a strobe light, and I might get a disco ball or something to play freeze dance with. To get the music, I would give everybody a blank CD and tell them to fill it with 5 cool songs. Another game we would play is a scavenger hunt. My mom would give us lists and hide stuff randomly. At night, we would act like it was a campout and roast marshmallows in the fireplace and talk and stuff. We might watch a movie, like Mean Girls or something, but I suggest that if you do watch a movie, watch it right before bed so people aren't distracted and they don't walk off and do other stuff. It's better to have half the girls fall asleep than half the girls doing something else and making everyone else want to do that thing. Because if that happens, the movie will be a waste. Also, if you have too many activities at a party, people get bored and ignore everything, so leave some random time to do whatever. :) Well, I hope this helps you to plan the perfect party. I'm hoping mine will turn out as planned! :-D
