For my 13th birthday, I wanted a big birthday party, but my parents didn't want to spend a lot of money. So, last month, I had a totally awesome bash at almost no cost. INVITATIONS: I invited my 4 bffs. I picked a cool design for my invitation and emailed it to everyone. I love polka dots, so it was covered in them. My invitation included the start and end times, the place, the date, and what to bring.  DECORATIONS: For party decorations, I put 13 balloons in every room of the house, since I was turning thirteen, and streamers all over, as well as twinkle lights in my backyard. PARTY SNACKS: For party snacks I had air popped popcorn(we have an air popper, and it tastes much better than microwave poppcorn.)We made our own pizzas for dinner, which was fun, cause we love to cook. I got an ice cream cake for dessert, and later we ate tons of chips, pretzels, and some m+ms. FAVORS:For party favors, I gave my friends a bag of candy, homemade friendship bracelets, and a photo of us in a frame that we decorated at the party. ACTIVITIES:My friends and I decorated photo frames, then had fun taking funny pictures for the frames. After taking the pictures, we decided on our favorite, and my mom went and made copies of it for my friends to take home. We had a campfire in my backyard(its an acre and really big)and I opened presents. My dad brought out glow-sticks, and my bffs and I had fun creating wacky outfits with them. We also made s'mores and roasted marshmellows. After the  campfire, we set up a tent in my backyard, and we all crawled inside of it and listened to music from our i-pods on my friend's speakers, watched a movie on our portable DVD player, and told funny and scary stories. After that, we just hung out and talked for a while. We didn't go to sleep until after 3:30 am. The next morning, we woke each other up, then went to the house and ate m+m pancakes, cereal, fruit, sausage, and bacon. We played on my hammock, and swung on the swings that hung from these huge trees in my backyard. We talked some more, and then the parents came, and they left. It wasn't the big party that I planned, it was better.I hope I helped!
