For my 13th Birthday we had a shopping party. INVITATIONS: For invitations we found a card with three girls on it with large, pop-up purses. I copied the card and then made duplicates of the purses with paper and rignstones. Then used foam stickies to make the purses look 3-D. PARTY: I invited 5 girls,that meet at  our house.Then my mom drove us to the local mall. For the main activity we had a scavenger hunt. We split up into two teams and one person had a digital camera so we could take pictures of the items we needed to find. The catch was you could only take one picture in each store. In other words you may only go into a store once to find a item on the list.Another rule was at least one player had to be in each picture. We had a hour and 20 minutes. Here are some of the things we had to find: 1. Purple hat,sunglasses, and scarf. 2. Shirt with the number 13 on it. 3. Each holding a huge, stuffed Disney character. 4. Take your picture with a mannequin that has your favorite colors in the outfit it is wearing. 5. Put on the same outfit as a mannequin and pose the same way. 6. Each in a different purple dress. 7. All sitting around a table you can purchase. 8. All pretending to read a American girl book. 9. A Stranger with a solid purple shirt on. 10. 5" heals. 11. With a set of twins. Then we went to lunch in the food court. After that we just when shopping for the rest of the time. For the favors, each girl had $5 to spend at Claire's. We went back home for cake and presents and to see who won the game. My mom created a points list and then determined which team won. We also looked and each others pictures on the computer.
