For my 13th birthday, I thought long and hard about what I wanted to do and found ideas on this site about mall scavenger hunts. I decided to do that!
INVITATIONS: I am not doing anything special, I am just writing the date and time, and i also wrote You should be dropped off at 101 Shellridge Dr. We will be driving you to the mall
and you will be going on a scavenger hunt! We will play some games at the arcade since for the hunt it is the purple team and pink team. THE HUNT:Once everyone arrives at my house my parents
will drive us to the mall. There we will be seperated into two teams purple and pink by drawing names out of a hat. Each team will be given the rule sheet on a clipboard and a pen. The rule
sheet will say... You are going on a scavenger hunt! Your team has 30 dollars to buy items that spell out the phrase TAYLORS DAY *note your phrase should be the number of people including you
who are at the party*. Which ever team comes back to the arcade with 10 items and finds my parents wins! Rules: 1. All items must come from different stores. 2. You must buy the items they
cannot be free or something you have with you. (receipts will be needed) 3. Your team cannot split up you have to stay together AT ALL TIMES! 4. You cannot use your own money to buy the items
you have to stay within the budget of 20 dollars. 5. You must come back with 10 items. HAVE FUN! At the bottom of the sheet will be TAYLORS DAY with space next to each letter so the
team can write down the thing they got for the letter. The winning team will get more tokens at the arcade. FOOD: after the hunt and the arcade we will go back to my house and have pizza and
some really good cake my mom will make! We are planning on making a big jug of pink lemonade. There will also be little snacks out like pretzels and cheetoos. GAMES: The first game is one of
my all time favorites that I play at every party it is called the chocolate bar game! Before the party you wrap 10 chocolate bars (the amount of people who are coming)together in about 10
layers of wrapping paper. You get everyone into a circle and place the wrapped chocolate bars in the middle of the circle with a hat thick winter gloves a scarf and two dice. You start with
one person rolling the dice and you keep passing the dice around the circle until some rolls two numbers that equal 6 (3 and 3 2 and 4 1 and 5...). The person quickly puts on the hat gloves
and scarf and starts to rip open the chocolate bars using their hands. It is very hard to do! Everyone else keeps rolling the dice and when the next person rolls 6 they grab the hat gloves
and scarf from the person who was opening it. This keeps going on and on until someone opens the package. Everyone gets a chocolate bar and the person who opened it will get a prize (a gift
card?) The second game is where the things the teams bought come into play. My mom will have already put the items in bags while we were eating. She will give each person two bags and
everyone can trade with eachother but THEY CAN NOT LOOK IN THE BAGS. It will be interesting what peoples reactions will be because if a team gets like deoderant for the hunt it will be
hilarious when the person looks in the bag! After the games I will open presents and then everyone will be picked up. I think it will be tons of fun!!!"
