Hi! Last year I couldn't decide what I wanted to do for my birthday. Then it hit me! I decided to have a party at the mall! My mom made invitions with little
shopping bags and credit cards on them on the computer. When the day of the party came, we had everyone come to my house to drop off their things. Everyone put their name in a hat and we
picked them out for teams to make things fair. Then we headed to our local mall. Each team got about $45 to spend on the hunt which consisted of about 20-25 items. They also a camera if no
one on the team had a camera cell phone, a list of rules, and the list of items. There was a time limit of two hours, and the team who came back first within the time limit and with the most
money and items was the winner. (I won! he he)This has been updated to 13 yrs because at the time I was turning 12, but depending on how old the birthday girl is, you might want to have
someone 18 or older accompanny the teams. The hunt was fun, and everyone had a blast searching the stores for the items. After the hunt we went home for pizza and cake and presents.
Then we had the birthday girl (me!) pull names out of a hat to see who won the items we had bought. Then we played some games and chatted until around 8:00, then everyone crowded into the
living room to watch a movie, then we went to bed(actually more like to our sleeping bags, we didn't end up going to bed until sometime around 2:00am, but don't tell!) In the morning,
we had a very filling breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, and cereal. Everyone had an awesome time and went home with the prizes, goodie bags, and things they bought with money their
parents had sent them with(this you might want to add to the invites) and months later, they're still talking about it!!
