For my 15th birthday party I did a Road rally scavenger hunt.  This is when you do a scavenger hunt around town in cars.  I divided everyone into two teams. My mom drove one car and my dad drove the other car. My parents made a list of different items we had to find or things we had to do. For example, one thing we had to do was get our picture taken with the greeter at Wal-Mart. Be creative as possible!!  The rules were you could only get one item per place. If you went into someone's house on your team that person could NOT go in their own house.  Also everyone had to get out of the car at everystop. Once you got back in the car you couldn't sit in the same seat again until you had sat in every other seat.  We had a  two hour limit but whoever makes your scavenger hunt can decide on an appropriat time limit. Also, make sure to decide on a meeting place.  For my party we just met back at my house to finish the party. Each item was worth a different amount of points, so while my parents went through our items and counted up our points my friends and I played SHAVE THE BALLOON.  Everyone got a balloon and then we covered it in shaving cream. I then gave everyone a razor and they had to shave all the shaving cream off the balloon without popping it. This got really messy, so you might want to do it outside.  By this time my parents came back and told us the winner. Everyone on the winning team then got a gift certificate for our local movie rental store.  We ate cake and other snacks of course too.  Some other games we played were the FRIENDSHIP NEWLYWED GAME and DRAME IN A BAG GAME. To play the FRIENDSHIP NEWLYWED GAME everyone picks a partner (someone you think you know very well) you also need a game show host.  One partner goes to another room while the first partners are all asked questions to see how well they know their friend and then the other partners are called back into the room and they reveal their true answers and points are awarded to the partners who got the answers correct. My mom also video taped this and we watched it later and everyone cracked up at themselves. You can award a prize to the winning team if you want. To play DRAMA IN A BAG you need to get some bags together filled with random items. Then divide everyone into teams of 3 or more. Each team gets a different bag. They then have to make up a skit using all the items in the bag and using every member on their team. Everyone can go off into different areas and then once they're done can perform the skits for everyone else. Be as crazy as you want! I hope these ideas help you plan a great party! Good luck!!!
