For my 13th party i had a red carpet party. I had my party on a friday after school with my twin brother. We invited about 50 people total girls and boys. Anyway I have a huge basement so thats were it was. I have set up a little lounge place with some couches and beanbags and stuff like that for people to hang out. I set up a row of tables with finger foods and snacks with a mini fridge next to that with drinks in it. I also put little dishes of candy around my basement for little snacks.  My mom bought a long piece of red fabric and lay it down from the front door, down the stairs, and into the basement. It had lights facing upward at the people walking on it. My mom,brother, and sister took peoples pictures (like paparazzi) while they walked down the carpet and my dad was the bouncer at the front door. When the guests reached downstairs their was a big strobe light flashing and music blasting from a playlist i had made on my ipod. My basement has four room kind of things but their all connected having no wall inbetween. One room had the lounge and food and stuff. Another room had my tv and couches that i couldnt move. I had set up DDR there. In the third room is were the stairs are and where i set up my strobe light and ipod (you could here the ipod in all four rooms though)People were dancing there during the night. In the fourth room i had foosball, and arcade game, popcorn machine, and air hockey. Some people played that. I had stuck big blow up oscars around the basement and stung christmas lights around the walls. INVITATIONS: the invitations were an oscar that said Your invited to Jenn and Jeff's Red Carpet party! Bring yourself and noone else, this pass invites one person only. (We slipped in a VIP pass)Dress like a celebrity and come party the night away! Come at 7:30 and sadly leave at 12:00 We had the party end at 12 because my brother and i were officially born at 11:58PM (He was 12:00 on the dot and i was 11:58 but its ok) At 11:57 we gathered everyone in the second room(with the tv) and everyone counted up to 13 while a slide show was going of pictures of me and my brother gowing up. When people said 13, the slideshow showed a video of the party that my older sister and older brother had taken throughout. My mom and dad had had an adult party upstairs, but they all came down for the countdown. It was really exciting! my brother and i gave out sweatshirts as goodie bags. They were black for the boys and white for the girls. They had a picture of one of those clapper things when directors say cut dring a movie. (you know their black and white and say what scene it is or something) Anyway the clapper thing was on the front and said Jenn and Jeff's Red Carpet on the back it said LIGHTS!                                           CAMERA!                                         ACTION! and on the sleeve it said Hollywood in really cool print. Kids wore them to school the next week and couldnt stop talking about it.
