For my 15th birthday party I wanted to do something special and memorable. I've always loved acting and so decided to throw an Oscars Party. I invited 9 of my closest friends.Invations: I created an oscar party ticket on publisher saying the date and time of my party and that the ticket must be brought for entry, it also had a picture of an oscar and the Hollywood sign on it. The actual invite was written in gold italic and read: Darling, you're cordially invited to Miss Merriel Faith's Birthday celebration at The Plummer mansion   Please come formally dressed as a famous actress, no stage names darlings or my bouncers will get confused! You should prepare background information for the paparazzi and get your limos to be swiftly on time. Everyone who's someone will be there. I put them in the envelopes and made a kiss mark with lipstick, I also made name tags and a guest book for them to sign while entering. Decoration:I bought some long red fabric to represent the red carpet" and placed it in the hall I had awards placed on a tablefairy lights glowing and pictures of my favourite actors pinned around the hall. In the lounge or "theatre" I had a front table where I had hidden prizes underneath. It was from 6-10 and I had my dad dressed up and a bouncer to accept the tickets when people entered they had to sign the guest book and receive a name tag. When everyone arrived we went into the lounge and I made an opening speech we had toasts present opening then I had people to vote for the "best dressed" and "best hair". Later on we also did a catwalk and my dad took pictures there was another prize for "best catwalk" We played shirades then had a buffet. To round it off I showed the film selection at the "box office" that was to be shown that night we chose a film then had popcorn. Everyone looked fabulous and I had a photoshoot at the end. It was a really original party that I got credited for!! "
