I had the idea for a red carpet theme for my 14th birthday. My invitations were formal with a picture of a movie star on a red carpet on the front and my own personal logo on the back. At around six o'clock; about 15 of my friends arrived. The girls were asked to come dressed up like divas and movie stars; which they happily obliged to do.Pictures were taken by the paparazzi(my parents and siblings)as each girl stepped on to the red carpet. Each girl recieved a feather boa as they entered between bouquets of red silver and black baloons. Inside; my house was decorated elagantly, with red roses everywhere.Champagne-colored soda was served in martini glasses. The rest of the evening was spent being girls- talking, laughing, and watching movies. I made thank you notes on the computer. On the front I put one of the pictures of that individual girl on the red carpet and a personal thank you inside. I wanted all of my friends to feel like celebrities, and I think I did because it's months later now and everyone still talks about how much fun they had.
