For my 14th Birthday party I wanted something really special and different, Mum suggested a fairy party and I loved the idea. First I looked on the internet for
fairy ideas and I came to this site, it helped me so much with everything. I made the invitations by getting a picture of me sitting down (with my dog at my feet) and putting it onto a
paintshop program Corel (I think you can download it.)I got a picture of a rainforest, which i put as the background with me sitting on the log. Then i got a picture of a fairy and put that
on the log above me. I also got a picture of costume wings a put them onto my back. On the inside of the invitation i put a poem that i made up and then the necessary party info. I BOUGHT
some 50c fairy statues from cheap as chips along with: fairy table scatters, pink and violet balloons, pink and white streamers, prizes, pink table cloth, glow sticks, sparklers, fairy lights,
bubbles, wooden wands and decorations for the wands. For FOOD we got fairy biscuits, spring rolls, mini keashes, small filos, LOTS of chocolate and sweets and I made winged muffins and fairy
muffins. The GAMES were: Wand decorating which was REALLY fun, we used glitter and gems, ribbon etc. Pinata (which i made and painted fairies on) treasure hunt with fairy knowledge
questions ( i.e. name three foods with 'fairy' in them), most dramatic death, pass the parcel, murderer (someone kills a person with a special word and the detective comes back in and has to
ask people what they were doing at the time TWICE and the murderer says something different the second time.)We also had best dressed comp. The sparklers and glow sticks were really cool at
night. My party went from 5 to 10:30 and (inc. me)7 people went.We had it outside on the pergola, which was good cause it was above 40 degrees. Everyone came as fairies and it was one of the
best parties EVER!!!!!!! And im sure all my guests thought so as well
