Hi there! For my 14th birthday, I plan to have a joint birthday party with my best friend Hannah, with a Fairytale theme. INVITATIONS: For the invites, I will
simply type up the information on Word Processor. I don't want to be making them by hand, as We are inviting 50+ people! We will type the invites in swirly font in pink or blue (depending on
boy or girl), with tinkerbell hovering over the word Invitation" at the top. In the invitation we will ask that they come dressed as their favourite fairytale character- and dressing up
is compulsory! No costume = No party! DECORATIONS: At the entrance to my orchard we will place a massive fairytale castle cutout you have to walk through to enter. We will decorate my orchard
with fairy lights and have pink and blue streamers and balloons. We will hang little fairytale cutouts and assorted sweets from the trees. We will have a marquee also decorated with
fairylights in which the band will play and food will be served. On the food table we will have disney plates cups and napkins. ACTIVITIES: There will be prizes for the best costumeswe will
dance decorate our own fairy cakes play murder in the dark twister truth or dare and whack the pinata! By the entrance will be a board with a picture of me and Hannah so people can write
comments on what they think of our party! Just in case anyone gets tired or bored (hope not!!) we will play some disney movies in our summer house. PARTY FOOD: For the food we are going
to hire a pig roast- this means we don't have to spend all week cooking! We will also have several big puddings ( Trife Pavlova Gateaux etc..) and a chocolate fountain with marshmallows and
strawberries! For drinks we will have fruity cocktails with those cute little umbrellas cherries and pineapple and punch. We will also have all the normal coke cherryade and lemonade stuff.
CAKE: We are planning on having a Fairytale Castle cake- easy to make: Just wrap swiss rolls in pink ready-to-roll royal icing and stand them on end like turrets of a castle. For the little
roofs dip ice-cream cones in runny icing and layer white chocolate buttons on like roof tiles. You can then pipe on detail like windows doors etc. FAVOURS: For the goody-bags we will just
wrap lots of sweets (Dolly mixtures are good) in bright cellophane and tie with ribbon and attach a little note to say thanks for coming! Hope our ideas have inspired you and if you use any
of them you have a great time! Wish me luck with my party! Phoebe :)"
