Hey!! im turning 14 years old and for my birthday party i wanted to do something really special.First of all i wanted to choose a theme as last year i did a murder mystery party which was a huge success, so people did expect something quite good.I decided on a disney/ X Factor theme, which meant everyone had to come as a disney character( I'm Princess Jasmine :P) but only one person per character, meaning people had to rush in and get the best characters!First of all were going to a community centre for a bouncy castle disco ! its going to be a lots of fun !!We are decorating the hall with various pictures and posters of disney characters and i'll make up a playlist on my i pod and use the i pod speakers to play music. We'll do that for about an hour and a half then we'll go back to my house where we'll have dinner.We will probably just have pizza and chicken wings and such.All the cutlery and plates and everything is cinderella themed, we got these heart shaped disney plates all gold and pink with a picture of cinderella on it and one of my favourite ideas is that we got these pink glittery champagne glasses,(theyre plastic) also with a picture of cinderella on it , i'll put everyones name on a glass and that will mean that is their glass for the night and there is no mix up!We got all these from tesco's and they were quite cheap!For decoration i'll also put a pink rose on everyone's white napkin. On my computer i made place cards and i have put a picture of the character everyone one is and ill put there character name on it and put it down on the table where they'll sit.And my favourite part possibly of the whole party is this, I'm going to get a pumpkin and cut the top off and paint it gold and draw windows in with a black marker,to look like the carriage then i'll use those liquorice circles with the sweet in the middle(as they're black ) as wheels.I will get four white chocolate mice and tie strawberry laces to them, to look like theyre pulling the carriage!I'll then line this carriage with cling film and fill it with lollies and various different types of sweets.After we've eaten and chatted for a bit the X Factor theme will come in.Ive asked everyone to bring a dressy outfit, with like sparkles and everything.We will change into that and before the party i will have turned my upstairs lounge into an X Factor room !!Im blacking out all the windows and doors with black paper and we have the lights that are like spotlights..you can dim them and everthing.Im going to take everything out of the room, the couches,the rugs and the tables, so nothing is spilled on anything.Im using table cabinets to make a stage i have 6 of them so i'll put them all together in the middle of the room and only put the one spotlight on it.I'm also making a judges table with a fold up table and I'll put out glasses of water to make it look real, and we'll all take turns of that.I'm also making VIP badges and an on air ,off air sign for the door, just for the fun of it.Then everyone must perform a song on the karaoke machine it doesnt have to be serious though.That part should be really fun!We will then have the sleepover and i'll have dvd's such as fame and dirty dancing for it,we will also have food such as crisps and sweets.In the morning we will probably have something like pain au chocolates for breakfast and the pick up time is noon.  I hope some people get some good ideas out of my party ! The party is this saturday so I'm very excited!! Wish me luck :-)
