Deal or No Deal! 15 Year Old. For my son's 15th birthday party we are planning a Deal or NO Deal party, since that is one of his favorite shows right now. If you've never seen the show this might not make sense to you, but if you have I think you will agree this party will be so much fun! I got the idea when I found some little toy medical kits at a dollar store that reminded me of the briefcases used on the show only smaller, so I bought 26 of them! I then made the #'s 1-26 out of craft foam and put velcro fasteners on the briefcases and the #'s so I can switch them up easily. Due to the relative inexpense of this party and the great odds, I put cash prizes in the top 4 amounts $100 in the Million dollar case, $75 in the $750,000, $50 in the $500,000, $30 in the $300,000, and $10 in the $100,000. only one of each cash prize $265 maximum. Although the odds of them winning the money are slim (like on the show), the excitement will be high to know they could possibly win! To win the cash they have to have the case in their possession and make it all the way, just like on the show. At the beginning of their turn, they will pick 1 case, and will progress through like on the game. I will use the cordless phone and my husband will call from his cell as "the banker" to give them their offer. I have a huge dry erase board that I will write all the amounts in permanent marker, and use a dry erase marker to cross out the ones that have been opened. When I wipe off the marks, the board will be ready for the next player. (PS Bleach will take off the permanent marker after the party) I will take the #'s off and switch them around between players. I'm also addicted to the show and think I will make a pretty good host(ess). If they make a deal, the dollar amount will be put into points, and the one with the highest points will win a cash prize. My son is having a sleepover, but if time is an issue you could just use 13 cases. My 7 yo daughter is going to dress up in her "fancy" dress and open the cases that are called. I will use silver and black paper goods, and make the cake myself with the DOND logo on the top.
