For my 14th birthday I wanted it to be a lot of fun but not too kiddish. My mom wanted to go bowling because of the special 50 cent games. I had done bowling for
my thirteenth birthday so this year I decided to do cosmic bowling. Twelve people including me were going to show up, boys and girls. I asked them to meet at my house first. There we had a
DDR competition until everyone got there. Then we ate pizza for dinner and opened presents. We headed to the bowling alley and played two games of cosmic bowling. It lasted about an hour and
a half. Then we went back to my house and had cake and ice cream. We went outside and played basketball and capture the flag. Then we goofed off and played DDR and watched movies untill it
was time for the guys to go home. The girls were staying for a sleepover, 6 girls including me. My house isn't very big so we pushed the furniture against the wall and used our coffee table
as a buffet for the girls to eat in case we got hungry during the night. We did make overs and watched horror movies until are eyes were too heavy to stay open another minute. We woke up and
had dougnuts and cereal. We finished our DDR tournement and played an american idol board game with my kareoke machine to pass time until their parents came to pick them up. I gave both the
boys and girls goodie bags filled with candy and little bowling things. I attached a pre-made thank you letter on the twist tie I used to tie the bag at the top. Don't forget to put balloons
on your mailbox so that it makes it easier for parents to find your house and leave your front light on if you have people being picked up at night. I had my birthday party on a friday night
to saturday morning because I didn't have to worry about people needing to get up early for church or about my own parents having to work during the party. My party was a big sucess and
everybody loved going cosmic bowling and couldn't wait to be invited to my party next year. Good luck if you want to try this idea for your party and it was very inexspensive except that you
do have to rent bowling shoes which are around four bucks per person. Have fun!
