The World's Largest Collection of Birthday Party Ideas

I really wanted to have a fun party for boys and girls on my 14th. I wanted it to be full of adventure. At first I picked Survivor, but couldn't think of enough activities. So then I decided to pick a camp classic, COLOR WARS!  INVITES: I chose lime green, electric yellow, bright blue, and hot pink for my wars colors. I Got black 4 x 5.5" pieces of cardstock. You can just cut black construction paper in half though. I ripped the edges and crumbled them up. Then after it dried I wrote COLOR WARS on the front in Silver Sharpie. On the back I wrote: CONGRATULATIONS. YOU'VE BEEN CHOSEN TO COMPETE AT COURTNEY'S 14TH BIRTHDAY COLOR WARS. DATE & TIME OF COMBAT:   RSVP:   you know! the usual. I also said that when they RSVP'd they would get their team color and position[general cadet etc. you can get creative with the names] also the person who went all out with team colors would get a special prize. I invited 30 people and the total cost was $10. PARTY: The party was held at a huge park. We rented a gazebo[only $25]. In the Gazebo we had colors tables. [each team had their own table decked out in their color. baloons streamers etc.] The food was pizza and cookie cake and posicles. and a cooler of soda & water. As the guests arrived they were given wristbands in their team's color. I made them out of old t-shirts. The coolest thing about this party was the video. My dad went around with the video camera shooting the events [i'll explain] and then interviewing competitors. After I put "Here It Goes Again" by OK GO as the background music. It was great. Lots of pics were taken too.  EVENTS: Events were human pyramid sprinting push up position [who can hold a push up postion the longest] cartwheels three legged race water baloons [this was cool. the water in the baloons had food coloring. wetest team lost] pizza sauce contest [you had to get all the sauce off the pizza the fastest only using your tongue] jungle gym relay race[monkey bars & stuff] and lots more!! The team with the most points at the end won prize bags with loads of candy. 2nd place got 2nd place certificates. 3rd got 3rd place certificates and last place got certificates that said BOOBIE AWARD. It was the best party ever. Hope this helps!"
