For my daughter's 14th birthday party, we are having a coffee house party because she loves coffee & music.  We are going to invite her close friends & host the party at our house because we have a large basement.  First, we will make sure to tell everyone on the invitations to bring an instrument or whatever performing talent they might have.  It will be just like the live performances at regular coffee houses! The girls will enter themselves in our talent show (if they wish to do so), and we will vote on the best performance.  The winner will get a Starbucks gift basket full of coffee, mints, and a new coffee mug! Our family also has a Magic Bullet Blender (although any blender or coffee maker will do), so each guest will get to choose from their choice of hot/cold coffee.  If the guests do not like coffee, then you can make them a simple milkshake using a blender or just melting ice cream in the microwave! This party is a good idea for any age! I'm sure my daughter and her friends will love this idea!
