Hello everyone, I am 14 years old and my previous birthday parties were boring, so I decided to actually plan something fun this year! Before I begin describing, I would like to say that for all you teens that are not rich, this is a perfect party for you because this costs virtually no money to do. So to start us off, INVITATIONS: For invitations I kept it plain and simple.  I took a piece of construction paper, wrote the date, time, and info, and RSVP on it.  I also told people to bring sleeping stuff, and a digital camera.  I then printed out pictures of clothes since this would be a clothes shopping spree!  DECORATIONS:  You don't have to go too over-the-top here, since you will spend most of the time at the mall, but still, its fun to decorate! I got a hot pink table cloth (fave color!), with some orange plates, and some fun balloons!  I had a happy birthday" sign going across the dining room.  Again it's simple but it's still fun. ACTIVITIES:  Okay so first of all I had everyone who was invited (around 7 people-small parties are better) show up at my house around 11AM.  This party is an early party because you will need lots of time to shop!  After everyone was here we headed off to a mall. It was kind of far away because it was a bigger mall that the local one. Tip: its better to go to a larger mall for this because you have more options.  Once we got there I handed everyone a piece of paper listing all these funky items we had to try on (ex: sparkley purple shirt) (My mom made the list so I have no previous knowledge of what is going on). We broke up into a group of 3 and a group of 4.  The object of this scavenger hunt is to find every clothing item on your list have someone put it on and have a picture taken of them modeling it (thats why someone needs a digital camera!). The first group to get back with all the clothing items found wins.  For a prize you could take them to a store and have every group member pick out something they would like that is under 10 dollars ( or under 5 dollars if you wish).  PARTY SNACKS: After all that fun everyone came back to my house for some yummy snacks. It was later in the evening so everyone was quite hungry.  I had chex mix fresh fruit chips and dip pop and lots of other snacks.  Then we ate pizza when it arrived.  CAKE: for a cake i had a simple birthday cake that said "happy birthday Jessica" on it! it was yummy. FAVORS:  you can do favors if you want but I chose not too because at my age you don't really do them anymore.  HOPE YOU LIKED MY IDEA IT WAS SOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!!!"
