The World's Largest Collection of Birthday Party Ideas

For my birthday we are going to have a pink and black themed slumber party. I am inviting six of my favorite girl friends. We sent out computer made invitations. They were black background with a pink and a white line on the sides. The writing was in hot pink and white. We rolled them up and tied them with fuzzy hot pink ribbon that we got at a party store. We will be covering the walls of our unfinished basement with black plastic. The whole room will be black. Then, we will add bursts of hot pink around the room. These bursts will be decorations and lots of streamers. We will have a hot pink tinsil curtain for the door. Hot pink table cloth that we will sprinkled with black star confetti. We will have other hot pink decorations as well. We will have Hot pink, black, and a few white helium balloons on the ceiling. Finally, we will put numerous blacklights all over the large room. We also have a black slipcover for the couch. For the party, we will do basic girl stuff. I am not planing any games. I will rent lots of movies, have food (pizza, cake, snackfood, chocolate fountain, veggies) and we will put out some boardgames. When we have sleepovers we entertain ourselves. My parents and siblings will stay upstairs, while we party away all night. For gift bags we are useing little pink Chinese takeout box sort of things and we will fill them with hot pink and black stuff. All the girls are being told to wear lots of white. In the morning we will have an assortment of muffins and fresh fruit. So that is my party. We have lots of decorations...it really does not cost that much. A lot of people on this site over-plan. I don't want to plan activities, we will go with the flow. We never get bored! Good luck with your party!
