My 14th birthday party was last July, it was a water sports theme. I invited 5 girls and 4 boys. We went down to the lake and rented some sailing boats and canoes. I've been sailing since I was 10 and my parents are also sailers and canoe-ers so we didn't need an instructor but please make sure you have someone who knows what they are doing with you! First, we sailed around for a while and had some races and games etc. There were 5 teams. We had some prizes for the winners of the games. after that we had some party food on one of the islands we sailed to. Then we went back to the marina and went canoeing! We had a race all around the lake and then, when we got back we all jumped into the lake from the jetty! Lol it was the best part! The boys went home at this point but the girls came back home for a sleepover. Make sure, if you are having a similar party that: A- you have an instructor or someone who knows what to do., B- You have safety equipment, such as bouancey aids, wetsuits, etc., and C- The weather is right for sailing and other watersports, which should be windy (for sailing) but preferably not too cold!  This party was GREAT! I really reccommend it! Have a good party!
