A Few of YOUR Favorite Things Party 13 Years Old....If you can't think of a good theme for a birthday party, use this idea. Why? Because you already
know what it's about! Why?
Because you will incorporate your favorite things into one birthday party. I will be telling you about my favorite things birthday, and I hope you will enjoy the ideas. INVITATIONS: I love the color light purple, so I got pretty light purple stationary. I typed the information on the computer and printed it out on the paper. The font was in dark purple, my favorite color (well, almost, I wouldn't want light purple font on light purple paper) and the font was one that I really liked, called Kristen ITC Western. I typed up this information.....NAME WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO A FEW-OF-NAME'S-FAVORITE-THINGS BIRTHDAY BASH! COME CELEBRATE NAME'S AGE BIRTHDAY BY HAVING FUN DOING ALL OF THE THINGS NAME LOVES TO DO! THE CELEBRATION WILL BE HELD AT ADDRESS ON DATE AT TIME. PICK-UP IS ON DATE AT TIME. TO RSVP, CALL PHONE # BY DATE.....Then, in the remaining space on the paper, I took actual things that I liked, drew a picture of them, cut pictures of them from magazines, etc. This included a picture of my cat, family, friends, cellphone, ballet shoes for dance, those happy/sad drama masks, etc. Just deliver! DECORATIONS/FOOD: For decorations, we put up blue, purple, and pink balloons, streamers, and tableware. We set up an anytime buffet filled with things I like, such as lemonade, cookies, strawberries, etc. We had chocolate cake with red and pink roses on them. For dinner, we went to McDonalds. I will explain more about dinner later. THE PARTY: As the guests came, we had them guess how many Hershey Kisses were in a jar, since I love that candy. Whoever guessed the closest amount won the candy. Next, we had a scavenger hunt, because I love scavenger hunts. The clues directed the kids to things I love, such as my dance bag, computer, the bed where my cat sleeps, etc. The final clue directed them to the mailbox, since I love getting mail, and there was a note telling the kids we were going to McDonalds for dinner, since I love McDonalds. When we came back from McDonalds, we split into groups and made up our own dances, since I love to dance. I took my favorite CD and let the groups pick whatever song they wanted to dance to. They had to make up 30 seconds. One group practiced downstairs and on upstairs. They had 20 minutes to make up a dance. After that, we gave everyone prizes, since I love when everyone gets prizes. The prizes were hairclips with ballet shoes on them, since I love ballet. Next, we did a craft, since I am very crafty. We bought a bunch of beads and string, and a lip gloss making kit, since I love those 2 activities. The kids did both of them. After that, we had cake and we opened presents. Next, we played on of my favorite bored games, Mad Gab. After that, we watched my favorite movie, Mean Girls, while doing another craft. We gave everyone with a pink, blue, or purple pillowcase and fabric markers, since I love to sleep and draw, and let kids draw on those if they got bored watching the movie. In the morning, we had waffles, blueberries, strawberries, and cereal. I gave my guests their goody bags and said good-bye! Goody Bags: I had light purple cellophane bags with a dark purple twist tie. Inside were craft kits, little notebooks and pens, nail polish, lip gloss, and other things I loved..........I HOPE THIS PARTY WAS VERY HELPFUL. I LOVED IT AND SO DID ALL OF MY FRIENDS.
