My daughter will be 13 in October. She is into the Twilight books. The new movie comes out in November so we are doing her party then. However, you could do this party with the new release of Twilight on video. It just came out this month. Invitations: will read I don't do fairytales I run with vampires!". It will be written in caligraphy writing (like Edward's perfect penmenship). Then list the day time place. We are going to send all of the girls a shirt to wear to the movie. You can get Twilight tees for only $10 at Wal-Mart. Place: We are starting the party at the movies and then go back to our house for a dance. I am putting black tablecloths all over the walls in our gameroom. Then I am decorating with red streamers. We will line the room with artificial potted trees that are strung with lights. (Like Alice does for Bella's birthday party). There will be a table with red tablecloths. On top of the tables you can place bloody taper candles. You can find the directions for these on Martha Stewart.com. You can also sprinkle fake vampire teeth (get these in October at Halloween) around the table. You can also decorate with red roses. Another decorating idea is to lay copies of the books around or even put posters of your favorite characters on the walls. Also we are purchasing one of those big cardboard cutouts of Edward. Let each girl take a picture with Edward. Food:Ravioli(like Bella eats on her first DATE with Edward)on white dishes make mini pizzas (red sauce white cheese red pepporonis) cheese sticks with marinara sauce. Any snack food that is also red in color. Maybe some chocolate dipped strawberries and cherries. For cake you can make red velvet with the white cream cheese icing. My daughter is more of a fan of white cake with chocolate icing so we are making white cupcakes and digging out the center to fill with red colored vanilla pudding and then icing them with chocolate icing. You could even put red sprinkles or little apple candies (runts) on top.Activiteis: Let the kids dance to music from the Twilight soundtrack or any favorites they may have. The girls can also make Peace Love and Twilight necklaces. You make these by using leather rope and putting a peace sign bead a regular bead in a fave color a heart bead and another favorite color bead and then an apple bead and another favorite color bead. THese are a fun take home treat. Treat bags: You can take white or black rope handle bags and glue a photocopy of the books on the bags. There should be four different ones. THen fill them with Twilight bookmarks keychains magnets eclipse gum body sparkle(because Edward sparkles) apple flavored candy. You can get a lot of Twilight items at Hot Topic Wal-Mart & Barnes & Noble. We also thought of having a scavengar hunt. YOu can hide many items from book: apple moon werewolf figurine sparkle dust chess piece little car (Jacob). Just have fun! THere are many ideas that can go along with this.      "
