For my 13th birthday party (which will be on May 19), I'm having 35 people (guys and girls) over for a barbecue. The party is going to be from 6:30-10:00 at
night. My backyard is really big and pretty and we have a hot tub, patio, 2 decks, a grill, and a fire pit, so it'll be held there. We're going to line up fold-up card tables along the patio
that will be FILLED with food like hot dogs/hamburgers on the grill, chocolate-covered strawberries, chips & dip, soda, and "summer food" like that, so everyone will just be
able to go through and get their food. We'll have tables for eating on set out on the grass. We'll also have a dance area...My best friend and I have chosen a whole bunch of songs to put on a
giant playlist, with fast & upbeat songs and then a few slow songs for slow dancing. They'll be a volleyball net set up, so we can play volleyball with an inflatable beach ball (plus
we'll have like 20 miniature inflatable beach balls). We're also going to have two or three different types of cake, so all my friends can choose which kind they want. Once it starts to get
dark out, at like 9 or so, we're going to light a bonfire in the firepit and make s'mores! I'm really excited for the party and I think it's a good and inexpensive idea for someone who wants
to make their teen-entering birthday a memorable one!
