Scary Movie Night Well i was turning 14 and i had no idea what to do for my party. THen, i remembered how much my friends (and i!) loved scary movies. So, i went
to blockbuster and found a made-for-tv movie by stephen king that lasted around 4 hours (if you cant find something like this, im sure that 2 or 3 normal scary movies would fill up the same
time). The movie was called "rose red" so the theme seemed to be red things. For invitations, i found red border stationary and used red paint to write them (so it looked like
blood). My friends (about 6 or 7)came in their Pajamas. I gave them their party-favors at the beginning...i called it a "scary movie survival kit" with one small stuffed animal (to
hug whem you're scared), mints (so your breath is fresh while you scream), tissues (for when a character dies), a flashlight (to check for scary things in the night), one or two bars of their
favorite candy (i asked them what it was ahead of time), and of course a piece of paper explaining what all of it was for, all in a red bowl. As soon as they arrived, we set up our sleeping
bags around the TV. My parents stayed in another room to create the illusion we were alone. They played their part really well, and even suggested we keep my dog with us because "dogs
can see ghosts".Red candles were lit everywhere and just as it was getting dark, we ate our pizza and turned on the movie. When it was over, my parents were asleep, and we stayed up
until the early morning snacking on pretzels popcorn etc. (i made sure there were plenty of snacks.)It just so happened that there was a huge storm that night too, so we were all scared out
of our minds. But it was the most fun my friends and i have ever had, and one of them even told me she couldn't wait for my next party because that was the best one she'd been to.
