Backyard Beach 14yr. hi im 14 years old and for my past birthday we brought the beach to my backyard! what we did was we set up a volleyball net which could also be used as a badmintin net and played badminton and volleyball. the net only cost us $10. we also did the limbo, played who am i and musical chairs! everyone loved it! it may seem like maybe musical chairs and who am i are a bit to young for 14 yr olds but im telling u they wanted to keep playing even after cake! but to bring the beach to my backyard what i did was i got a bunch of lias from the dollar store for $1 for all of them and decorated my backyard in yellow and green to make it look like the sand and the coconut trees. I also got some coconuts and hang them from the trees in my backyard. we asked all the guests to wear their bathing suit with a skirt on the bottoms. around my pool we had longe chairs set out we had a "bar" with margarita glasses filled with kool aide, smothies and neat fruit juices. We had beach balls everywhere and nice big umbrellas for shade. Everyone is still talking about it!
