I'm turning 15 and want something that won't be too cheesey. i wanted something that would be able to accompany a large amount of people.  a backyard movie night is perfect.   have people come over at about 6 or whenever it starts getting dark. set up your back/front yard with tons of blankets, pillows, maybe even some mattresses. have a sheet set up vertically for the screen(tie a piece of wire across the yard, make something out of pipes, etc), with a DVD player connected to a projected set up accordingly.  the cool thing about this is that you can sit on either side of the sheet and still be able to watch the movie, so there's plenty of room.    buy/make a ton of snacks and candy. i'm going to have everyone make their own pizzas. it's awesome fun and makes sure that everyone gets what they want. i'll also put out the usual popcorn, fruit kabobs, and candy, of course, along with sodas.    make sure that the movies are something that everyone can watch (no rated R).  put out cards and other board games if someone doesn't want to watch the movie.    i'm lucky enough to live across the street from a park, so in order to get rid of restlessnes from sitting for a few hours we'll go play our favorite game- capture the flag.  it's amazingly fun. HOW TO SET UP: divide everyone into teams.  divide the park/playing feild into two halves and make sure everyone clearly knows the boundaries. you must have something to show what team each person is on, so i suggest buying two different color bandanas to tie around everyone's head/arm.  make sure the colors are easy to tell apart in the dark.  have a jail" area for when people get tagged they must go to jail. you must also have a white flag (white is easiest to see in the dark). HOW TO PLAY:  the teams must hide their flag somewhere within their side of the playing feild. the point of the game is to find the other team's flag on the other side. but if you're on the other team's territory they can tag you and send you to their jail on their side.  to get out of jail someone from your team has to tag your hand.  they can tag up to 2 players. once tagged they cannot be tagged until back on their side OR if they let go of eachother. once you find the flag you must run it back to your side without getting tagged and there is no throwing aloud though you can pass it.    after a game or two depending on how long we played we'll go back and watch another movie. there's usually a person or two that falls asleep so be sure to have markers ready to draw on their faces.  they DID fall asleep at YOUR party after all.   so yeah that's my party! i hope it'll be as much fun as i planned and i hope you have a lot of fun too.  "
