For my daughter's 13th birthday I decided to do something big because I decided it was her last actual party until she is sweet 16. My daughter is my first born
and I only have 2 children, my son is 9 and i love to give them parties. My daughter has had every party imaginable since age 1! I rented a local party/banquet hall and she was permitted to
invite boys for the first time. The theme was all about her. As I said before I had done just about everything and was fresh out of ideas. I decided to make her invitations because she Knows
so many kids. I just decorated the invitations in her favorite color with my computer on card stock (postcard style). It was about 50 kids that came. I wanted it to be special because she was
entering teen hood. I went back to where it all began, birth. I printed every picture I had of her from hospital to her current in Black and White.I took some pictures to Kinkos and had them
blown up 10x13 and larger. Pictures were all sizes and of every year of her life. She was the theme of her party, her life. My daughter is beautiful and I had taken many pictures, very often
growing up, so I had plenty! The color scheme was black/white and silver. This did well to match her black and white photos. So I had pictures hanging and posted all over the party room, this
was the party decoration. I had some custom made Mylar balloons with her pictures and her name on them from a local balloon store. I had 2 poster boards (the ones used for science
fairs)spray painted in the theme colors and pasted pictures of her on them. I had her cake made with her picture on it (editable)All the parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents
and all other relatives had to wear iron on t-shirts I made. I had every relative to help out with the party and I made each person a personalized t-shirt with different pictures of her on
each shirt and who they were to my daughter ( grandma, mom, dad, etc...) . I scanned the pictures on my computer and brought iron ons from Michaels. The party was a hit with lots of finger
food and plenty to drink. I had a friend DJ the music for dancing. The party theme was a surprise to my daughter, she didn't see what her theme was until party day. She liked it. P.S. I
didn't use any embarrassing photos.
