For my 14th b'day i had a hawiian luau at my house, we was proven to be quite cheap and heaps of fun! DECORATIONS: The party was held outside so we set up 2 tables each bearing a bright
tablecloth. As centre peices on each, we put a large painted, plastor shell filled with stickers and party poppers and pineapples with balloons filled with helium (the helium was left over
from a party held by another family member, so we were lucky enough that we didn't have to hire any ourselves) tied to the spikes. We also tied some balloons from the chairs and along the
pool fench. Streamers were folded to create a chain and were hung up dropping from the roof and we wound some up the posts. We also bought 4 cheap bamboo stake lights from crazy clarks and
arranged them out on the grass. Having coloured party lights also helped set the mood as my party was at night. FOOD: For food, mum just cooked up some party pie and suasage roll etc and
ordered hawaiian pizzas. And for dessert we made a huge fruit salad which was placed in the halves of a hollowed out watermelon lined with cruched ice. GAMES: For games, i made a pineapple
pinata, which was filled with wrapped lollies, stickers, small ornaments and jewelery. We also just played some games in the pool, like races etc and most of the time everyone jsut amused
themselves talking, dancing, swimming or jumping on the trampoline. OTHER STUFF: Everyone was asked to come wearing something hawaiian and via the internet, i found out what everyones name
was in hawaiian and wrote this on bright orange label sitckers. And out the front of the house we put up thw word ALOHA, which we made out of fluro coloured cardboard. All in all, it was a
complete success and I would recommend a luau for all ages! =D
