~*13th Birthday Hawaiian Luau Sleepover*~ Well, i recently had my 13th birthday and i decided to have a Hawaiian Luau theme on June 20. I invited 9 (including the 4 others)of my closest
friends to my real sleepover party. I bought these fabulous invitations in the shape of palm trees, surfboards, flip flops and hawaiian flowers!! I put Dear FRIEND ALOHA!! you have been
invited to come stay with me in my tropical paradise for my 13th birthday Luau party"!! and the the 5 w's and what not. for the really good stuff i went to Party City! i got coconuts
drinking cups hawaiian flower shaped plates. i bought blow up palm trees with coconuts blow up tiki statues and totum poles a big ALOHA sigh things for the goody bags a surfboard pinata and a
lot of grass skirts and leis!! also i got hawaiian themed paper plates napkins cups and utensils.The outside was themed as the beach/ocean the living room/my room/upstairs was the tiki
bar/hawaiin island theme and the tent was the hawaiian tree house right on the beach. and the kitchen/ dining room was like underwater because thats where my fish are i had dark blue and
light blue paper and streamers and balloons everywhere.
the main colors were green orange yellow and blue! we had a slip and slide near the sand. i had things/streamers hanging down from the ceiling holding fish/jellyfish and other underwater creatures. We bought 3 bags of over 100 peices of candy for the pinata! Lucky for me i had a neighbor hood pool which i decorated like a we spent alot of time at but if u don't have a pool dont worry you can still have a lot of fun! ! We also went to the local beach and took some sand we put plastic paper around my trampoline/swingset and put loads of sand on the plastic! we had soo much fun building sandcastles and stuff! for dinner we had shrimp crabs and tuna cooked on the grill by my dad. also we had a Lilo and Stitch/Blue Crush/Johnny Kapuluhu/Kapahala birthday cake with a surfboard on it and we made snowcones and smoothies with pineapple mango and coconut!!! SCHEDULE: Guests walked through my arch of flowers/tiki statues i put a lei around their neck and they came inside when everyone was here we went to the pool for about 2 hours and played games there we came back to my house opened presents and ate dinner we then went on the trampoline then we played in the sand did the limbo and busted the pinata then we went to the tents in my horse pasture next door and we played all sorts of games including a fasion show of hawaiian clothing then we took the walk snuck up to the pool (w/o my parents knowing) came back and watched movies and played with my horses dogs and hampsters and "fell asleep". more food: later on for snacks we just had chips soda and party finger food! We took a walk through my woods at like midnight and every one (including me) ran out screaming b/c we saw a guy walking toward us (it was at midnight. We watched The Hills Have Eyes (very scary movie) and Blue Crush (surfing movie) at like 3:00 a.m. The games we played wernt original but were ALOT of fun. the prizes we gave out were simple like coconut bikinis and leis and grass skirts and stuff like that. We did karaoke dancing contest we did the Quija board (which is exciting fun and scary at times) we also played graveyard and murderer and spin the secrets (spin the bottle but who ever it lands on they tell a secret). We had a lotta fun doing the limbo and playing chicken in the pool. I think the most fun we had was swimming in the river across my street everyone got scared because there were jelly fish and fish everywhere. my parents pretty much left us alone the whole night except they checked on us once before they went to sleep. Everyone went to bed around 5 a.m. except for Me and my friend Mollee we didnt sleep AT ALL!! in the morning my guests woke up at about 10:30 and we had cereal went to the pool and everyone was gone by 12:00!!
