Heya! It's my 14th birthday party today and i'm having a Luau Sleepover! PLACE: As my birthday is around the first day of spring, it's still quite cold here so i've decided to hold it indoors! I'm only inviting 2 friends because my house is quite small, plus we're having a sleepover afterwards in my lounge, (in the same place where i'm having the main party). DECORATIONS: I've made a big ALOHA sign to go over my fireplace with a grass skirt underneath it. I've covered my floor with a giant bed cover that looks like sand. I made my own paper chains for decorations and I put a giant inflatable sun by the window. I bought a pink flamingo from a really good party shop in a nearby town, it was extremely cheap.  I've covered my sofa/couch with another bed cover thats green, yellow and orange, perfect for the hawaiian colours!  FOOD: For dinner we're going to have a hawaiian pizza, of course, with mocktails, (mocktails are like cocktails but with no vodka in them), and for dessert my birthday cake that has a beach scene on it, made out of icing. EXTRAS: We are using plastic glasses, that look like real goblets. When we put the mocktails in them, we're going to put a slice of orange and lemon on the side with a colourful straw and a classy umbrella! I have poppers, balloons, streamers, blowers. (I know it seems kiddy, but it's so much fun when the time arrives because your all laughing!) GAMES: Truth or dare, (a must have). Guess who, using bits of paper with stars from Lilo and Stitch on them! Hula competition. Pass the coconut, (don't ask lol! Basicly like pass the parcel, but inside the parcel is a coconut!) MUSIC: Elvis - Blue Hawaii, Auretha - R.E.S.P.E.C.T, Elvis - Aloha Oe, Bonnie - I need a hero, Patsy Klein - Walking After Midnight, Christina & Missy - Car Wash, Sly and The Family Stone - Dance to the Music and Beach Boys - Surfin USA. A great mix of tunes, not all luau style but there all faves of the 70's 80's!!! Hope you find this useful, ALOHA!
