So its my 13th b-day, i decided to have a luau!!This theme is really fun and you can do alot of stuff w/ it. INVITATIONS_ i wrote all the info about he party on beach balls and delflated them and handed them out at school in pink evolopes bc pink is so cool.DECORATIONS_ you can make decorations out of almost anything, i got out my boggie boards, surfboards beach balls etc. I ordered alot of stuff from Oriental Trading co like tissue pineapples, life preservers, palm trees(the ULTIMATE decoration) and alot of other stuff. my house is pretty big so i had to buy alot of stuff.FOOD_ i made a buffet of finger foods like chips, pigs in a blanket, cupcakes, mimi sanwhices and put them in fun bowls and tropical shaped trays from Party City and it looked really good.I also had a tiki bar which my brother ran and the ppl asked for sodas or drinks and he would put ice and the drink in these cool glasses with a tiny umbrella.ACTIVITIES we just swam in my pool and ppl could eat from the buffet whenever they wanted and dance to music from my ipod speakers.IT was SWEET!! and i hope your party goes just as good!!
