Okay so I wanted my 13th birthday party to be special and the spotlight to be on me. So after planning a lot I finally got the party I dreamed of. Luckily my birthday is in June so the theme fits the season. Also my mom let me plan my own. THEME: Hawaiian Luau. INVITATIONS: I had my invites customized so that everyone's name was Hawaiian. Then I put the clothes that you have to wear leis, shorts, swimsuits, etc. and the regular info what, where, and when. I also put I wanted presents. I did invite about 55 ppl and half were girls and half were boys. PLACE: My dad actually found a really cool hall with a bar that we made into a tiki bar. My mom also hired Hawaiian dancers and a fire thrower. And not only that but a got a DJ. I also got a picture of me enlarged so people could write nice comments about me. FOOD: We had different types of drinks and native Hawaiian dishes. ENTRANCE: I had 4 guys from my grade carry me in a little throne and then me and the Hawaiian dancers did a dance. PARTY: Everyone came in and sat down then I did my entrance. Then I made an intro speech and got escorted down the stairs by 2 cute guys from my grade. Then I went around and greeted everyone. After that the food was ready so everyone started to eat. Then I danced with my friends and just had a great time. Then I opened my presents and actually a Tiffany bracelet from my parents and a ring engraved with my name. Then I danced a while. Finally I thanked everyone and they all left. END: There was a couple ghetto kids who tried to trash my party but my dad had bodyguards there so there was no trouble. In the end I'm glad how the party turned out. And my sweet sixteen is going to be so much bigger! I hope maybe this will give u some ideas!!!
