My daughter's 13th Birthday was a night to remember! I secretly rented a limo and purchased tickets to go to a concert of an artist that she was really 'into.' I
picked her up from the middle school with the limo driver dressed in a suit and I held the door open for her with a bouquet of long stem roses ready to present to her. Her friends parent's
knew about this, but they and she did not! We were baraged with questions and curiosity from the middle school kids, (understandably), "Who is this limo for?" When I told them, my
daugher had proposals for marriage at the tender age of 13! LOL- She is a shy girl, so when she walked out and saw the set-up, she promptly ran back into the school! After she recovered from
the shock, we took her and her pals (who were screaming and waving out the windows) to a coffee shop, and then to 'show off' to the houses of a few other friends. Next in the agenda was a
meal, and then we whisked the girls off to the concert...on a school night, no less! It was a 'blast' and surely one of those memories that is not soon forgotten...it was definitely a hit
with her and her friends!
