For my 13th birthday party, i wanted it to be special. I was going to have a massive party, but i decided that a small party with 7 friends would be heaps. since year 3 i had had sleepover parties, seeing as they were always sucessful. i wanted to have a sleepover again this year. instead im having a hotel sleepover, to make it special. my mum agreed because 1. It would be lots of fun, 2. no cleaning up or setting up and 3. she gets the weekend to herself. we went to a 170$ AU hotel,  but they can be much cheaper. INVITATIONS i told my guests to meet outside the hotel at 3pmEST, seeing as the check in was at 2pm, so we could set up food and stuff. we put gift packs on everyones beds. these were boxes with a flower, a ring, some perfume, nailpolish and some lollies. there was noptenough beds sp we inflated lilos and put cusions everywhere. we made it ultra comfy for when the guests got there. at 3 we went up to our room and spent a good 10 minutes looking around and having fun with the stuff in the room. it was a 2 bedroom hotel room, but we slept in the living room with the TV. at 330 we went up to the pool and chilled for about an hour. then we went to the spa and sauna and chilled there for 40 minutes. then we went back to the room and made a little kiddie fort out of all the cushions, couches and pretty much anything in the room. there was a kitchenette coming off the room so we made our own food there. we had pasta, salad, drinks and snacks ie chips, dip, etc etc. im not a huge fan of cake so we had a simple vanilla cake with vanilla icing. then we went back to the pool for another hour. we went back to the room and played eyetoy and other games on the PS2 for about 1 and a half hours. then we went to the sauna and had massages from the ladies there. by that time it was about 10pm. i was getting really exited because in 2 hours i was a teenager. then we painted our nails, had makeovers to eachother while watching movies on the tv. we watched movies like zoolander, white chicks, starsky and hutch etc etc etc. the clock struck midnite and we had a mini, ultra quiet dance party. we then watched more movies, talked, ate and chilled until about 6 when my mum woke up. then she gave me my bday presents and we played singstars which i had been given and ate breakfast. for breakfast we had frenc toast, pancakes, toast and various cereals. we then went back up to the pool and at 930 we went back to our room to pack up. my dad then met us at the bottom of the hotel and we went to chinatown and went shopping. i love chinatown so much so we were there until 12. then we went and got yum cha for lunch and visited the chinese gardens. then we went to the lindt cafe and all had icecream, hot chocolate, chocolate and lollies until we could barely walk. the finally we went to the playground and chilled with the fully cool (XD) 3 yeaar olds. then we went back to my house and swam in my pool and played on the trampoline and played ps2 until all my friends had been picked up. it was a great party and my mum was surprised about how easy it was to organise. we had alot o fun and my friends loved it. i hope you liked my idea seeing as it can be as cheap or as expensive, as small or large and as fun or... boring as you want! i hope it gave several people ideas for what to do for there party
