Hotel Slumber Party 11-14yr

July 2008

Reagan in Dallas, TX, USA

Here is a very fun Hotel Slumber Party idea!!!I went to one of these once, and i had a BLAST. so the girl was having it at a hotel. It started at 5:30pm. she was inviting 15 people, 16 including me. We got a deluxe suite. IT ROCKED. First she gave us all disposable cameras so we could remember the fantastic night. Her mom gave us the pictures later. Then we played this weird-sounding but SO FUN came called Frozen tshirt. So what we did is, ahead of the party time they froze some folded tshirts in a freezer. Then at party time the object of the game was to thaw out the tshirt anyway you could think of and the first person to get the tshirt on over their body won a $15 Claires giftcard!!!That game sounds so weird, but it was sososososo fun. Like the funnest game ever. Then , as lame as this sounds, we played bingo and won some really amazing prizes. Everyone won at least 2 things. It was so awesome!! I know that sounds so lame but it was great! some examples of prizes: chocolate with $5 taped to it, candies, fun necklaces, cool funky wallets, funny hats, $15 gift cards to Aeropastale, Claires, Target, Abercrombie, & Hollister, just random stuff like that!!!It rocked! Then, once it was pretty dark out, we played BODY PARTS....For this game you will need: Paper Bags, plastic bags, peeled grapes, canned apricots, popcorn kernels, cooked spaghetti, tomato, macaroni noodles, & jello. To play:Have the kids sit in a circle in a dimly lit (or dark) room while you make up a story about a mean old witch who falls apart piece by piece. As you talk about each body part, pass around a paper bag lined with a plastic bag, and have the kids feel inside without looking. Each bag should hold a different body part" that has fallen off of the witch. For example use peeled grapes for the eyeballs a canned apricot for the tongue popcorn kernels for teeth cooked spaghetti for brain a large peeled tomato for the heart cooked macaroni noodles for intestines a slab of jello for the liver and so on. Have the kids guess what food you used for each body part and the person who guesses the most right wins. It was so freaky and fun!!!!! Then we played Truth or dare gossiped etc. SO FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
