For my 13th birthday, I wanted something that would be remembered, like everyone does when they turn thirteen. So I came up with this idea. INVITATIONS - No one
really reads about the invitations on this site, so just try printing all the information on cute cardstock paper. PARTY - I had my 7 closest friends over at noon, and they thought it was
just a sleepover. We had pizza, cake, opened presents, and then at 12:45, a limo came and took us to a local hotel. Right next to it was a mall, so once we were settled in, we walked over
there. I had told the guests to bring money on the invitations. We went shopping for 1 1/2 hours, then my mom took us to Sephora where we had convinced them to give all the girls makeovers.
After we set up a red carpet in the center of the mall and had all the girls model outfits that they brought - I also added that the guests needed to bring 2 fancy" outfits on the
invitations. My mom had brought a boom box so we played music through the whole thing along with being videotaped by my parents... and someone else we didn't know?? Then my mom took us back
to the hotel where we had snacks set up in the room. We relaxed for a while and watched a movie then put on some makeup of our own and went to dinner - also just a short walk. We came back
and played games: WHO AM I where a celebrity is placed on a guest's back and they have to ask yes or no questions to figure out who they were. Prizes were awarded to the first 2 people to
figure it out. Then we did some crazy relay races and played truth or dare. After we went swimming! We played games like Chicken and Starz. When other hotel guests started coming we went back
to the room and relaxed while some of the moms gave us pedicures and we read magazines. BY now it was late so we watched a bunch of movies until the morning. We went to the breakfast that the
hotel served which was very good! Then we had a small scavenger hunt throughout the hotel. My mom had asked some of the hotel guests to be in charge of certain items so we had to run around
finding those people along with items from the front desk and some that were hidden. Then the parents came to pickup the guests. For the goodybags we had out a BUNCH of candybars 2 magazines
nail polish and lipgloss. This birthday party was AMAZING! I would recommend it to any girl who wants their birthday to be remembered forever! I really hope this party helped give you ideas
for your next one."
