For my sixteenth birthday, I want something special. I like so many different ideas that I am going to collaborate them. The party theme is going to be Favorite Movie Scene. Each person is going to bring their favorite movie and pick a scene out of it. Their job before they come is to get a costume and dress up like someone in their favorite movie. For example, one of my favorite movie scenes is when Heath Ledger sings to Julia Stiles in "10 Things I Hate About You". That means I could dress up as anybody in that movie, preferably a main character. The invitations will have each person's favorite actor or actress on it. (I will find out that information with a little thing I like to call email.. Nobody will suspect!) My birthday cake will have a picture of Heath Ledger on it, that says SWEET SIXTEEN! For fun after the movie watching- we will bake cookies, make homemade pretzels, stay up late, and do actor impressions of the people we dressed up as. The party favors will be objects that symbolize things from famous movies, like The Breakfast Club (plastic eggs) or Jurassic Park (a dinosaur toy). All of the decorations will be movie themed. Streamers, balloons, and other decorations will be in my favorite colors! Hopefully it will be a party my friends never forget!
