For my 13th I wanted something special. I thought that I like making films and being creative and this one would bring lots of laughs. INVITATIONS First, for the invites, I typed the
girls all a letter. Dear
Firstly, I would like to congratulate you on getting to the final round of the auditions for my up-and-coming film, Teens Go Crazy. Unfortunately, the people who are supplying the money we are using to film Teens Go Crazy want to see the film by the end of this year! Obviously, we can't shoot a major feature film in such short period of time. Or can we? We'd like to know if you want to take on this challenge. It will involve you working as a team on a film for just two hours and then we'll be watching it. Obviously, if it's good enough, you'll receive a copy of it, edited, with your name in the credits! We're filming on Saturday 10th February 2007. Luckily, Josie is planning to throw her birthday party on that day and so we're filming at her house. 22 Effingham Road, Harden, Bingley. We'll be shooting from 6pm onwards until 11am on Sunday 11th February. Bring all your sleeping stuff! Pyjamas, sleeping bags, pillows, toothbrush, toothpaste…whatever it is you need. Also, maybe it'll be a good idea to bring presents for Josie. We are filming at her house. Good luck! Thanks, Mr Director PS. Also forgot to tell you two things. One, I'm not going to be there and two u haven't quite worked out a plot yet. And then I went to my local dollar store and grocery store and found some cool props that were really cheap. The guests arrived and we went into the back room. We sat down and began planning a plot. In the end we decided on a scary movie. One of us was a cameraman and the other wanted to be a director, but then the other four were on-screen. We dressed up in black wigs and strange clothes. One of us dressed normally. She was the victim. We drove real far till we found some woodland. We filmed our scary film...the girl walking through the woodland, then the three scary girls getting her. We drove back and stopped off at a station to change into normal clothes. Then we stopped at a diner on the side of the road for tea. When we got back home we played "Pin The Oscar On Tom Cruise" and had some pretend Oscars. Mom had made some badges that said "I won an Oscar at Chloe's 13th," and a ballot box. It was real fun. Dad had put the film we made onto a DVD so we changed into our jams and went into Mom and Dad's room. We lied on the big bed and watched the DVD. We had popcorn and candy. At about ten pm we went to bed in my room. For breakfast the next morning Mom served the cake. It was huge, and was chocolate. It had been shaped like a camera. When the guests went home we gave them a copy of the DVD, some candy and they were allowed to take home some bits of the costumes, like wigs. It was so awesome, all my friends loved it, and it barely cost anything!
